The San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival (SFIOFF) is a non-profit organization that promotes film as a means to promote public awareness of marine ecosystems and their social and ecological importance. By creating the acclaimed annual film festival, SFIOFF seeks to inspire and cultivate ocean stewardship through the spirit and passion of independent films and the wonders of the marine world they share with us. The festival also provides a “watering hole” for conservation and ocean-focused filmmakers to gather and share knowledge and experience.
