The full Bella Gaia ensemble premiers their new Cosmic World Music Immersive Theatre performance Biosphere Pulse at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium at the Marin Civic Center, San Rafael, California.
Bella Gaia (Beautiful Planet) combines satellite imagery of Earth, time-lapse nature photography, and cultural heritage footage with live music and dance performances to create a stunning, one-of-a-kind audiovisual experience. The deeply moving performance, directed by award-winning filmmaker and composer Kenji Williams, celebrates the relationship between humans and nature. Previous Bella Gaia performances have been described as “exceedingly beautiful” and “a poignant reminder of our planet’s…pressing need for its citizens to be good stewards of its resources” (Pheonix News Times).
Bella Gaia has announced the release of the single Biosphere Pulse on November 11, 2014 from its debut album Bella Gaia.
The Baum Foundation has supported Bella Gaia as a fiscal sponsor since 2010 to expose audiences to a new perspective of Earth and to inspire informed citizens of the world to experience the richness, beauty and precious place it is.
