QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
The Baum internship program is established on the premise that each individual’s knowledge, skills, and abilities can be matched with our interests in a variety of areas and a balance can be struck between administrative and qualitative work. Initially interns will be responsible for the daily office management—answering phones, ordering supplies and other essential duties while becoming familiar with our office and programs. Once established the intern will be placed in programmatic and/or administrative areas based on the individual’s experience and needs of the organization. Placements will be designed to allow the best opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills, contribute to the organization’s activities, and transfer the interns’ experiences to their studies and communities. Since placements are based on information provided on the application, descriptions of actual assignments are available only after interns have been selected for the program.
